On August 22, the team of the Ilbirs Foundation, with the support of NABU, held a meeting with members of Jashyl-Oroon in Toktogul📍.

During the discussions, we talked about the future of the organization, outlined the framework of its management plan, and defined key goals and objectives. Our partners received field guides in Kyrgyz that will help them use the SMART mobile application more effectively for monitoring and data collection📲. We also agreed on the next steps for working with camera traps that had been installed earlier in Toktogul district to obtain an objective picture of local wildlife.

This meeting was an important step in strengthening the capacity of local communities and advancing joint efforts to conserve the biodiversity of Kyrgyzstan🤝.
