In early March 2026, as part of the #CAMCAproject, staff from the Ilbirs Foundation carried out their fourth and final field trip to mountainous areas, this time to the 📍Naryn Region, where 13 interviews were conducted with livestock owners and herders✅.

This field trip is a continuation of work to study the current state of the ecological corridor connecting the country’s key specially protected natural areas. The data collected will enable an assessment of the impact of grazing pressure on local ecosystems.
