🌿 Second Steering Committee Meeting of the #CCHALKK Project in Bishkek

On 17 February 2026, the second Steering Committee meeting of the project Community Climate Health Amongst Livestock-Keeping Communities in Kyrgyzstan (CCHALKK) was held in Bishkek. 🤝🌏
The purpose of the meeting was to present project updates, discuss the preliminary findings of Phase I, and agree on the plans for Phase II in 2026 in alignment with national priorities.
👥 The meeting brought together representatives of relevant ministries and government agencies of the Kyrgyz Republic, national research institutions, and international organizations. The discussion reaffirmed the importance of an intersectoral One Health approach, integrating human, animal, and ecosystem health. 🌡️🐑🌿
🔎 Key discussion points included:
▪️ Major findings from Phase I field research conducted in rural communities
▪️ Opportunities for the use of national data
▪️ Expansion of research activities and stakeholder engagement under Phase II
▪️ Coordination with ongoing partner initiatives
