The Vanishing Treasures of Kyrgyzstan Photo Exhibition Opening Ceremony held on October 20 at the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after G.Aytiev.

The exhibition is dedicated to the International Snow Leopard Day which aimed at raising public awareness of the issues of preserving the snow leopard and other endangered species of Kyrgyzstan. The photo exhibition was organized by the Ilbirs Foundation with the support of the UNEP Vanishing Treasures Programme.
The photo exhibition showcased the majesty and dignity of such a rare species of fauna. More than 100 photographs and video materials reflected the active efforts to conserve the snow leopard and its ecosystem. There were also photos from camera traps, as well as professional photos reflecting the harmony between humans and nature.

The exhibition will be held from October 20 to November 7 from 11AM to 6 PM except Mondays, at the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after G. Aitiev.  Entrance is free.
