On September 4-5, Ilbirs Foundation hosted a two-day training on introducing sustainable tourism at the Khan-Teniri SNP for the local rangers and tourism representatives from the villages of Enilchek, Kayindy, and Karakol.

The training sought to enhance the ability of the Khan-Teniri SNP staff in developing and conducting sustainable tours and excursions, with a focus on raising visitor awareness about the importance of biodiversity conservation.

The training covered the following topics:
– Sustainable tourism
– Ecological tourism as a tour destination
– Ecological tourism in Kyrgyzstan
– Guide and porter training
– Tour development and costing
– Marketing and promotion

This event was conducted as a part of the #CAMCAproject.
