International CAMI Range State Meeting in Tashkent

📅 From June 24 to 26, 2025, the Director of the Ilbirs Foundation participated in the Third Meeting of Range States of the Central Asian Mammals Initiative (CAMI).

Alongside our international partners, the event was also attended by representatives from CAMP Alatoo PF and the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The main goals of the meeting were:
✅ To exchange experiences and knowledge on the implementation of the CAMI Work Programme (2020–2026) and to refine the draft of the new Work Plan for 2026–2032
✅ To strengthen species conservation and transboundary cooperation
✅ To review mandates, contact points, and enhance implementation through external support and funding mechanisms

The Third International CAMI Range State Meeting was organized by the CMS Secretariat in collaboration with the Ministry of Ecology of Uzbekistan 🇺🇿, as part of the #CAMCA project funded by the International Climate Initiative (IKI) of the German Government.
