Ilbirs Foundation has handed over 15 camera traps to the Department of Biodiversity Conservation and Protected Areas under the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic❗
The equipment was provided as part of the project “Facilitating Transboundary Conservation between the Kara-Buura State Nature Park (Kyrgyzstan) and the Aksu-Zhabagly State Nature Reserve (Kazakhstan)”, implemented with financial support from the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity – Peace and Biodiversity Dialogue Initiative🤝.
The camera traps will support wildlife monitoring, the study of rare species, and the strengthening of conservation efforts in protected areas🔎.
We sincerely thank the Department for its fruitful, trust-based cooperation and effective collaboration within the framework of this project.
