A training session for local beekeepers took place from March 29th to March 31st, 2024, in the Bel-Aldy village district, Toktogul! 🌱 We are delighted to share the outcomes of this wonderful event with you

The main aim of the training was not only to educate beekeepers on methods for beekeeping development but also to create opportunities for the marketing of bee-derived products. But that’s not all! We also discussed the possibilities of ecotourism and other activities as alternative sources of income. These opportunities enable local residents to adapt to climate change and advocate for active nature conservation! 🌿🍯

Upon completion of the training, we are confident that we have laid a solid foundation for the establishment of a Cooperative, where local entrepreneurs can pool their efforts and continue the development of beekeeping! 🤝

Following the training, our staff at @ilbirs.foundation conducted inspections of beehives and checked the condition of bees after wintering to ensure their well-being! 👍
