🌿 Fieldwork Beginnings in At-Bashy🌿

From September 22–25, our CCHALKK Project team carried out the first pilot site visit to the At-Bashy region.

Over the course of the week, we:
🔹 Met with local veterinarians, health care workers, livestock keepers, and other community members to learn from their experiences and insights
🔹 Tested our research methods in real-world settings
🔹 Refined our hypotheses on how climate change impacts health in pastoral communities
🔹 Strengthened collaboration as one team across three organizations.

This pilot visit marks an important step as we prepare for the larger research phases ahead.

We are deeply grateful🤗 to the communities who welcomed us and shared their knowledge. Together, we are building understanding to support resilient, healthy, and sustainable futures in Kyrgyzstan.
