On December 5th, project staff of the Ilbirs Foundation held a working meeting at the office of the Padysha-Ata State Nature Reserve as part of the project “Implementing Integrated Watershed Management to Key Protected Areas in the Western Tian Shan,” supported by the Regional Program “Integrative and Climate-sensitive Land Use in Central Asia” (GIZ on behalf of the German Government, BMZ)🤝.
The purpose of the meeting was to present the findings of the watershed assessment report and to validate the situational model developed to identify and address key threats to the Padysha-Ata watershed🔎.
During the discussion, the staff of the Padysha-Ata State Nature Reserve confirmed the relevance of the identified issues and agreed on the components of the model. As a result, the meeting contributed to a shared understanding of the current situation and to the coordination of next steps for integrated watershed management📊.
