🌿 A New Ecological Corridor in Kyrgyzstan 🌿

📅 On January 28-30, 2025, the Ilbirs Foundation participated in roundtable discussions on the creation of a new ecological corridor connecting the Naryn State Nature Reserve and the Khan-Tengri State Nature Park.

This initiative was organized by our partners @campalatoo in
collaboration with the Biodiversity Department of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic as part of the #CAMCAproject.

During the discussions:
✅ The principles of creating and managing ecological corridors were defined.
⚠️ Threats to wildlife and measures for their prevention were examined.
🎯 Future goals for biodiversity conservation were outlined.

At the event, Zairbek Kubanychbekov gave a presentation on “Research on Diseases of Mountain Ungulates” and actively participated in the discussions.

The lands within the ecocorridor remain available for use, but their management must align with environmental protection regulations.
