✨ Exciting News! ✨
We are pleased to announce that our project “Community Climate Health Amongst Livestock Keepers in Kyrgyzstan (CCHALKK)”, funded by Wellcome , has successfully received research ethics approval from both the Kyrgyz Republic National Ethics Committee and the University of Melbourne Human Research Ethics Committee.
✅ This project is a collaboration between the Nossal Institute for Global Health (University of Melbourne), the Association of Village Health Committees of Kyrgyzstan (AVHCK, or the Kyrgyz acronym), and Ilbirs Foundation. This milestone ensures our work meets the highest ethical standards, safeguarding the rights, dignity, and well-being of the communities we collaborate with. With this approval, our team is ready to move forward in advancing research that strengthens community health, climate resilience, and pastoral livelihoods in Kyrgyzstan. 🌿⛰️ We are grateful to our partners, colleagues, and the communities who make this work possible.
