The Ilbirs Foundation has handed over 23 camera traps to the Padysha-Ata State Nature Reserve as part of the project “Introducing Integrated Watershed Management to Protect Key Areas of the Western Tien Shan.🤝”

The project is being implemented with the financial support of the Regional Program “Integrative and Climate-Sensitive Land Use in Central Asia,” carried out by GIZ on behalf of the Government of Germany (BMZ).

Today, digital technologies are becoming an important part of conservation efforts. Camera traps📸 make it possible to collect reliable data on wildlife and the state of ecosystems, improve the quality of monitoring, and make conservation measures for flora🌱 and fauna🦌 more effective.

Equipping the reserve with camera traps will strengthen its conservation work and help preserve the unique ecosystems of the Western Tien Shan.
