As part of our dedicated efforts in snow leopard conservation, Ilbirs Foundation, under the UNEP Vanishing Treasures program, introduces an alternative yet valuable opportunity for residents of the snow leopard ecosystem: cultivating sea buckthorn. Sea buckthorn cultivation not only enhances the snow leopard’s habitat but also promotes sustainable resource management within the ecosystem ☝️.

Under the #UNEP #VanishingTreasures program, sea buckthorn has been planted on a 0.6-hectare plot in Suusamyr and a 1-hectare plot in Chon-Kemin, both equipped with drip irrigation systems as part of this initiative💧.
