The film crew is in Chon-Kemin to showcase the remarkable efforts of women farmers growing sea buckthorn as part of the UNEP’s “Vanishing Treasures” program

Their goal is to contribute to the conservation of the snow leopard🐾.
The sea buckthorn was planted last summer, and a harvest is expected next year. These women are working diligently to ensure a good yield, with 10% of the profits going to an environmental conservation fund.
